Call for Coaches 2026/2027 Season
The Angels are now accepting coaching applications and expressions of interest for the 2026/2027 season. This is the first call for coaching interest, with additional opportunities to apply and express interest taking place closer to the season.
We are looking for passionate individuals who want to help create a positive, supportive, and development-focused experience for players across all age groups and levels. Whether you are an experienced coach, a current player looking to give back, or interested in getting involved for the first time, we would love to hear from you.

Growing Female Coaches in Hockey
We are particularly interested in bringing more female coaches into the association and supporting their growth within both our program and the sport overall.
Even if you are unsure about your experience level or whether you are “qualified enough,” please know there will be a place and support structure for you here. We believe developing female coaches is important for the future of the game, and we are committed to creating opportunities for women to learn, grow, lead, and thrive within hockey.
We also encourage anyone interested to [join our Female Coaches Network], which is focused on building community, mentorship, support, and development opportunities for women coaching within the association and beyond.
Whether you are a current coach, former player, parent interested in getting involved, or simply curious about coaching, we would love to connect with you.
Ways to Get Involved
On-Ice Helper
On-Ice Helpers assist during practices and skill sessions. This is a great opportunity for individuals who want to get involved in coaching in a lower-pressure and supportive environment while learning from experienced staff. On-ice helper opportunities are also open for U15, U18 and U21 players who might be interested in helping with younger age groups.
Assistant Coach
Assistant Coaches support practices, games, player development, and team operations alongside the Head Coach. This role involves a medium to high level of commitment depending on the team and level of play and is a great opportunity to grow coaching experience while helping create a positive team environment. Assistant coach opportunities are also open for U18 and U21 players who might be interested in helping with younger age groups.
Head Coach
Head Coaches lead practices, game planning, player development, and communication with families and staff. This role involves a high level of commitment throughout the season and plays an important role in shaping the player experience and team culture. We are looking for individuals who can foster a positive, inclusive, development-focused environment while supporting both individual player growth and team success.
Division Coach Coordinator
Each division within the association (U7, U9, U11, U13, U15, and U18) will have a dedicated Coach Coordinator to support coaches within that age group. This role focuses on coach mentorship, communication, onboarding, resource sharing, and helping maintain alignment across teams and programs. Coach Coordinators play an important role in building a strong coaching community and ensuring coaches feel supported throughout the season.
Unsure Which Role Fits You?
That’s completely okay. The roles above are not written in stone and can evolve based on experience, interest, availability, and team needs. If you are interested but unsure where you fit, please still reach out.
