$100 Deposit will be charged upon Registration, and then 4 Equal Payments will be charged over the next 4 months

This option is only available until May 30, 2017 - If you register after May 30, 2017, you will need to pay in full upon Registration

 

For all of the following situations, the registration form, and required documents are to be submitted to the registrar by email to registrar@vancouvergirlshockey.com.

Once the Registrar has created a Hockey Canada #, the New Registrant will be contacted and directed to complete the Online Registration Process.

 

New players born in Canada:

  1. Registration form - PCAHA Registration Form
  2. Copy of your child's Birth Certificate
  3. Proof of residence - 2 pieces*

* Suitable proof of residence are:

  • Bills - Two (2) ONLY - hydro, gas, water, cable, satellite & phone
  • Proof of Home or Rental Insurance (structure/contents insurance)
  • GST Statement or Income Tax Assessment
  • BC medical statement
  • School Registration (confirming child’s address)
  • Bank/credit card statement
  • Vehicle Insurance Papers & corresponding Drivers Licence
  • Property tax bill/assessment

New Players transferring from a Minor Hockey Association that are born in Canada or have Canadian Citizenship: 

  1. Registration form  PCAHA Registration Form
  2. Signed Player Movement form,- Player Movement Form
  3. Supporting documentation:  please refer to page 3 of the player movement form for what documentation is required.

 

Players Born Outside of Canada
Permanent Residents

We are required to determine the residence of the parent(s) of players born outside of Canada.  In doing so, it must be determined that the parent(s) are more than temporary residents of B.C. if, the player is to be deemed eligible to participate on a team which registers on Hockey Canada Registration Certificates.

Canadian Citizenship Card-Passport/Landed Immigrant/Permanent Resident Status
In these cases, it will have to be determined that the parent(s) are more than just temporary residents of B.C.  The parents must provide proof of Permanent Resident Status (or documentation proving that Permanent Residence status is in process).  If BC Hockey/Hockey Canada determines that the parent(s) are permanent residents of Canada, the player may be approved to play at all levels.  If not, the player will be approved to play recreational “C” hockey only.

If born in the US:

* Suitable proof of residence are:

* Bills - Two (2) ONLY - hydro, gas, water, cable, satellite & phone

*  Proof of Home or Rental Insurance (structure/contents insurance)

*  GST Statement or Income Tax Assessment

*  BC medical statement

*  School Registration (confirming child’s address)

*  Bank/credit card statement

*  Vehicle Insurance Papers & corresponding Drivers Licence

*  Property tax bill/assessment

  • Proof of status in Canada (copy of one the items below)

*  Canadian Citizenship Card or copy of confirmation of application of Citizenship (including file #)

*  Canadian passport

*  Permanent Residence Card or copy of confirmation of application of permanent residency (including file #)

  • Letter from parents requesting unlimited transfer, indicating that the whole family has move to Canada permanently
  • US to Canada letter of approval for Minor

If born outside North America:

  • Player registration form PCAHA Registration Form
  • Application for Player Movement (if player played previously in another Country) Player Movement Form
  • Birth Certificate
  • Proof of residence – 2 pieces
  • Proof of status in Canada (copy of one of the items below)Letter from parents requesting unlimited transfer indicating that the whole family has move to Canada permanently
    • Canadian Citizenship Card of copy of confirmation of application of Citizenship (including file #)
    • Canadian passport
    • Permanent Residence Card or copy of confirmation of application of permanent residency (including file #)
  • IIHF Letter of Approval – International Transfer Form 
  • IIHF Unlimited Transfer Card Request Form 

 

Players Born Outside of Canada
Work Visa

These situations involve non-Canadian parents who are residing in Canada on a long term work permit (e.g. embassy or consulate employees, professional athletes, international corporate employees here for a specific job or time frame).  The parents must provide a copy of the appropriate work visa.

  • Player registration form PCAHA Registration Form
  • Application for Player Movement (if player played previously in another country) Player Movement Form
  • Birth Certificate
  • Proof of residence – 2 pieces
  • If born in the USA: US to Canada letter of Approval for Minor
  • If born outside North America: IIHF Letter of approval – International Transfer
  • Copy of parent’s work visa
  • Copy of player visa
  • Letter of support from New Association
  • Letter of support from District (PCAHA)
