Schools & Academies
In the Greater Vancouver area there are a number of schools which are Hockey Canada Academies or have hockey programs --many at which you will find Vancouver Angels on their teams.
Britannia Hockey Academy:
The Britannia Hockey Academy (BHA) is Vancouver’s first sport specific academy. The BHA blends regular secondary school coursework and graduation programs with a licensed Hockey Canada Skills Academy (HCSA). Britannia Secondary School is the perfect location for a HCSA program. Britannia has an ice arena on site!
Burnaby North Hockey Academy:
Burnaby North Hockey Academy was started 9 years ago, and was one of the first full time hockey academies in the province. Its philosophy combines classroom success with hockey skill development. Burnaby North is a licensed Hockey Canada Skills Academy partner
Premier Hockey Academy:
The Hockey Program is a choice program within Sentinel Secondary School. This program offers young hockey players the opportunity to complete their academic requirements in the mornings and then the ability for students to participate in hockey skill development training in the afternoons, all during school hours.
