Year Round - Power Skating for New and Experienced Players
Power Skating training is essential at all levels of hockey. For the new-to-hockey player it is important for her to attend Power Skating classes and training for new hockey players and the Spring and Summer are good times get ready for the new season of hockey. The following are some of the options available.

The Vancouver Parks Board provides skating lessons throughout the year and at most of their rinks.
Steve Serdachny's Power Skating and Hockey Academy at Britannia
This unique and dynamic skating and skill development program has been developed by Steve Serdachny, along with coaches, teachers and players who love the game of hockey. The program focuses upon Skating and Elite hockey skill development. The program teaches and emphasizes proper technique, form, speed and skill as they apply to the game of hockey. All camps will provide and implement a positive and productive learning environment for the students to gain maximum benefits.
Sunset Skating Club
This unique and dynamic skating and skill development program has been developed by Steve Serdachny, along with coaches, teachers and players who love the game of hockey. The program focuses upon Skating and Elite hockey skill development. The program teaches and emphasizes proper technique, form, speed and skill as they apply to the game of hockey. If you are between the ages of 3-15, then we have a hockey or skating program just for you! Our youth hockey & skating programs are set out to provide participants with a progressive pathway to hockey development.

Whether you’re just stepping onto the ice for the first time or are looking to take your skill development to the next level, our programs are designed to improve your level of play in all dimensions of the game.
Canlan Ice Sports - North Shore
The Canlan Ice Sports Hockey Academy has developed a progression system that helps youths and adults progress towards their training goals. Each level has been standardized for on-ice content and designed with specific drills to assist participants in their development. Our instructors have been professionally trained to make your experience a memorable one. If you or your child wish to get a head start on your hockey career or would like to fine tune your skills, the Canlan Ice Sports Hockey Academy has a program for you.
Inside Edge Hockey Training
The instruction Inside Edge provides is administered by an experienced and qualified coaching staff. Inside Edge Hockey Training strives to be the leader in coaching standards. Inside Edge coaches are required to be at least 20 years of age and have played and participated in the game at an elite level.
Pacific Elite Hockey School
The major difference between our hockey school and all others is that the players attending will learn the basic skills and fundamentals associated with the game of hockey taught with 4 major goals in mind: game playing, competition, smart training and results

The Advantage Hockey Development
THE Advantage hockey development is committed to making you a better hockey player. Every time we step on the ice we are helping young players reach their hockey goals and assisting them in moving on to the next level in their hockey experience. We offer programs throughout the year, ranging from summer prep camps, winter skills training for individuals, small groups and teams, as well as spring skill development and elite spring teams. These programs are offered for male and female athletes playing at the rep level. Programs designed by THE Advantage coaches, progress through a variety of skills including skating techniques, shooting, puck control, and passing.
Turcotte Stickhandling Hockey School
Having more than 40 years of experience in conducting hockey schools and also author of the book Search for the Lost Art, Réal Turcotte has designed a systematic approach in the art of stickhandling, passing and shooting that guarantees each individual an improvement in their skills.

Advanced Goaltending Consultants
AGC instructors pride themselves on challenging their students and holding them to the highest standard. Work ethic is defined as “a belief in the moral benefit and importance of work and its inherent ability to strengthen character”. At AGC we will ensure that each goaltender’s work ethic will be maximized on a consistent basis. AGC uses a cutting edge instruction method focusing on making each goaltender’s game more efficient. At AGC we understand that each goaltender has their own unique style and we work with each goalie to help them reach their full potential. We also consider ourselves on the forefront with the latest techniques and innovation of the goaltending position.
Eli Wilson Goaltending
Having elevated the games of current National Hockey League goaltenders Carey Price, Ray Emery, Tim Thomas, Tuukka Rask, Brian Elliott, Jason LaBarbera, and Devan Dubnyk. Eli Wilson has established himself as one of the premier goaltending coaches in the world. His relentless work ethic, vivacious personality, knowledge of the goaltending position and tenacious approach to the game has afforded Eli the ability to build an impressive track record.
Magic Hockey
The “Magic Team’s” main objective is building the foundations for great goaltending. All our programs, from beginner to elite, have been designed with these key points in mind. As ability increases, with the development of mobility and strong technical skills, speed and agility are Incorporated into the higher level programs. In turn creating the three key elements of goaltending: Technical, physical and psychological.
We have designed specific training programs to develop goalies from beginner to pro.
Pro Formance Goalie School & Development Centre
We believe that the foundation of everything goalies learn is based on positional mastery. From Novice aged beginning goalies to Pro caliber athletes, all our students are taught to continually work towards improving their positioning skills. Stressing confident positioning is where all goalies start. Once positioning has been understood and demonstrated consistently, our students are ready to start learning the mechanics of stance, movement, challenging shooters, rebound control, playing the puck, and directing play in the defensive end. These are all teachable skills that with our tested training methods have been shown to contribute to the exceptional development of goalies aspiring to raise their game to a higher level
Veit Goalie Schools
Veit Goalie Schools offer many services for your development we have regular camps throughout the year. We have our Saturday and Sunday morning sessions. We also have Private and Semi Private training sessions, which can be customizable to fit your needs. Whether you're a new Youth Goalie, Professional, Junior, or just your average Weekend Warrior looking to hone your skills we can help.
